one minute diaries
In this series of mini video performances, the written or spoken text works as a soundtrack for the visual narrative, trying to concentrate several pages of a diary into audiovisual works lasting approximately one minute. This is a critique of the demands of a consumer society in which everything must be reproducible, marketable, capable of appropriation and, above all, function as an economic good – including the self. The one-minute diary reproduces the conception of time in capitalism that suggests consuming as many items as possible within a limited space of time. Fast, express consumption.

Nesta série de mini vídeo-performances, o texto escrito ou falado funciona como uma trilha sonora para a narrativa visual, procurando concentrar em trabalhos audiovisuais de aproximadamente um minuto diversas páginas de um diário. Trata-se de uma crítica às exigências de uma sociedade de consumo em que tudo deve ser reproduzível, comercializável, passível de apropriação e, acima de tudo, funcionar como um bem econômico – inclusive o indivíduo. O diário de um minuto reproduz a concepção de tempo no capitalismo que sugere o consumo da maior quantidade de itens possível dentro de um espaço de tempo limitado. Consumo rápido, expresso.

One Minute Diaries is a living archive of mini video- performances that, since 2013, has investigated the intersection of movement, voice, and brief writing. In 2026, the project expanded into a live format with the creation of ONE MINUTE DIARIES: live shots. In this phase, historical diaries were reperformed in real-time, culminating in the instantaneous creation and filming of diary no. 16, Renascer da Areia (Sand Rebirth). With cinematography by Francisco Baccaro and editing by Isabela Stampanoni, these fragments capture the urgency of the gesture and the transformation of the documentary process into a direct performative event.
Diários de um Minuto é um arquivo vivo de mini vídeo-performances que, desde 2013, investiga a interseção entre o movimento, a voz e a escrita breve. Em 2026, o projeto expandiu-se para o formato ao vivo com a criação de DIÁRIOS DE UM MINUTO: fragmentos live. Nesta fase, diários históricos foram reperformados em tempo real, culminando na criação e filmagem instantânea do diário n.o 16, Renascer da Areia. Com direção de fotografia de Francisco Baccaro e montagem de Isabela Stampanoni, estes fragmentos capturam a urgência do gesto e a transformação do processo documental em evento performático direto.

Objects of everyday life
Every time of day has its own feeling … Combining movement, text and photography (pixilation), this work aims to portray the almost hypnotic repetition of feelings and feelings that assaults a person throughout the 12 hours of the day. Pixalation is an animation technique where innumerable images are shot and then projected in sequence, creating an illusion of movement.
Objetos da vida cotidiana
Toda hora do dia tem seu próprio sentimento… Combinando movimento, texto e fotografia (pixilation), este trabalho tem como objetivo retratar a repetição quase hipnótica de sensações e sentimentos que assaltam uma pessoa ao longo das 12 horas do dia. Pixalation é uma técnica de animação, onde inúmeras imagens são filmadas e, em seguida, projetadas em sequência, criando uma ilusão de movimento.

In ONE MINUTE DIARY 04_free, a woman fights to liberate herself from various ‘layers’ that have been deposited around her through her lifetime. non-stop turns around one’s own axis. each turn, automatically generates the shadow of the same body, of the same self, turning towards the opposite direction. diving in the deep blue waters of the unknown as the only way out of this vicious circle. an endless and silent fight whose outcome is transformation rather than liberation.

Uma mulher luta para se libertar das várias “camadas” que foram depositados em torno dela ao longo de sua vida. Giros em torno do próprio eixo. cada volta gera automaticamente a sombra do mesmo corpo voltando-se para a direção oposta. Recapturar o eu original eliminando todos os padrões históricos, sociais, herdados e voluntariamente adotados. Varrer a “poeira” sedimentada em torno da própria imagem, da auto-compreensão e do próprio corpo – isso é viável?

ONE MINUTE DIARY 1 deals with the pain of dealing with the passing of time and the transformation of space into ruins. The movement language mirrors this concept. A 360 degrees turn around one’s own timeline. While the image turns clockwise, in a way that the subject cannot control nor stop this cycle, the body performs a anti-clockwise movement. A reflection on the past, while time, necessarily, maintains its steady direction.
ONE MINUTE DIARY 1 trata da dor de lidar com a passagem do tempo e a transformação do espaço em ruínas. Uma volta de 360 graus em torno do cronograma de uma vida. Enquanto a imagem gira em sentido horário, o corpo executa um movimento anti-horário de tal forma que o sujeito não pode parar nem controlar este ciclo.
